Cara joined Implant Pathway as the Director of Strategic Growth & Development in April 2019. In her role, she is responsible for promoting and executing the organization’s growing vision. Cara’s primary focus is building the Implant Pathway Study Club. She also works closely with the New Horizons Institute, Implant Pathway faculty and staff, and course sponsors on continuously identifying opportunities to enhance the already exceptional Implant Pathway experience. With a passion for organization, Cara also manages certain course logistics and the inventory of materials for both hands-on and clinical training.
Cara graduated from the University of Alabama in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. For her post-graduate work, Cara was accepted into the nation’s top-ranked Master of Science in Healthcare Administration (MSHA) program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Pursuing a dual-degree track, she earned her MBA in 2012 and, after completing a one-year fellowship, her MSHA in 2013.
Prior to joining Implant Pathway, Cara spent almost ten years working for community-based hospitals and healthcare providers, an academic medical center, a national healthcare payer, and a global medical device manufacturer for dental implants. Her experience includes marketing, product/program management, regulatory/quality compliance, service line & physician network management, data and market analysis, strategic planning, and business operations.
Cara made the move to Phoenix from Birmingham, Alabama with her two mischievous pups, Sawyer and Maverick. She is honored to be a part of the Implant Pathway team.
