Implant Pathway offers a comprehensive education program dedicated to the surgical placement of dental implants. Dr. Justin D. Moody, one of the most highly credentialed Implantologists in the country, founded and currently leads Implant Pathway.

Our Implant Continuum offers two tracks to course completion: Fast Track & Standard Track. The Fast Track is an accelerated, 5-day intensive course that provides training in one week in Gilbert, Arizona. Standard Track offers a more flexible timeline, allowing you to complete the course in two weeks instead of one week like Fast Track. Standard Track is a great option if you can’t take a week out of your practice. Both options include the same comprehensive curriculum and hands-on training opportunities and are a total of 5 days of in-person learning, either broken up into two weeks (Standard Track) or all curriculum in one week (Fast Track).

There is no certification you need to place implants in the United States besides your US Dental License. When you complete Fast Track or Standard Track you will receive a framed certificate to hang on your wall letting patients know you have completed continuing education in the world of implant dentistry.

The International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) is devoted to dental implant education and is a member only program. Once you complete our Implant Continuum, you will become an instant Fellow in the ICOI after you submit your paperwork and membership fee. We hope to see you walking on the stage at an upcoming ICOI event!

A valuable part of the Implant Pathway is the opportunity to network with our mentors and build relationships with them that live on past the course. Our mentors teach because they love helping fellow dentists and genuinely want to see you succeed. We encourage you to ask for their contact information and stay in touch after the course! For additional mentorship, we highly recommend joining the Pathway Study Club which is led by Dr. Steven Vorholt. Dr. Vorholt does regular treatment planning sessions and case posts focused on implant dentistry. Download the Pathway Study Club app to have instant access to our network throughout your day!

Certainly! It is highly encouraged for you to bring your dental assistants to the live surgery portion of the course. However, we kindly request that you refrain from bringing them to the lecture portion as it becomes challenging to accommodate a larger class size within the space available.

Dr. Moody holds the belief that it is significantly more beneficial for the integration of implant dentistry into your practice if your dental assistant shares the experience with you rather than you having to brief them afterwards. We do not charge any extra for you to bring dental assistants to the course.

We use BioHorizons for our implant system. BioHorizons provides an exclusive starter implant package for our doctors that makes it affordable to incorporate implants in your practice once you return home from our training.

Yes, you will need a temporary Arizona license, also known as a Good Samaritan license to complete the surgical portion of our course. Upon registration, we will send you the instructions on how to obtain this license, and are happy to help answer any questions you have along the way.
