Experience a comprehensive 2-day surgical immersion course from diagnosis to implant placement for fixed arch (All-on-X) procedures, designed to give you all the necessary knowledge and hands-on surgical experience to incorporate the concepts into daily practice. You will place implants into bone models, learn new suture techniques, and perform surgery on a cadaver specimen.

The goal of the Full Arch Fixed Protocols course is to give dentists the ability to confidently diagnose, treatment plan, perform the all-on-x surgery with immediate conversion and perform all necessary prosthetic steps to deliver the final prosthetic. This is a week long course where participating doctors will learn all the crucial steps required to perform a successful surgery, conversion, and prosthetic steps relating to the final restoration. During the course, participating doctors will concurrently work up a case of their own that by the end of the week will have proficiency to complete in their own practice. Subsequently the participating doctors will also be able to submit this case for use in ABOI credentialing.

During this intensive two day didactic and hands on course, students will learn the fundamental principles and specific protocols used to perform guided bone regeneration. Various protocols for the management of simple sockets defects, advanced socket defects, and horizontal ridge augmentation will be explored in detail.  Students will also learn how to safely implement these techniques to achieve predictable treatment outcomes. 

In the hands-on session, various models and porcine mandibles will be utilized to understand the requirements for successful guided bone regeneration and how to satisfy these requirements with site specific techniques and a variety of regenerative materials.

This course delves into the critical factors contributing to dental implant failures and complications, equipping participants with the knowledge to manage and mitigate risks effectively. Key topics include risk assessment strategies for identifying patients at higher risk for implant failure, an in-depth review of pharmacological approaches to prevent complications, and the common surgical issues encountered during implant procedures. The course also covers prosthetic failures and the associated complications, providing insights into troubleshooting and managing these challenges. By the end of the course, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of the complexities involved in dental implant procedures and the skills to address complications proactively.

Safe and Predictable Wisdom Teeth Removal

This course is designed for general dentists seeking to expand their clinical competency in the surgical extraction of impacted third molars. Through lectures, radiographic case analysis, and hands-on surgical training, participants will develop the knowledge, judgment, and technical skills necessary to perform extractions safely and effectively—or recognize when referral is indicated.

Implant Pathway and Noris Medical are teaming up to provide knowledge and guidance for performing remote anchorage treatment. Dr. Dan Holtzclaw will lecture on remote anchorage and participants will work on models and cadavers.

Dr. Dan Holtzclaw is amongst the world's most experienced surgeons for zygomatic and pterygoid implants. He authored the textbook Pterygoid Implants: The Art and Science, as well as his most recent publication, Remote Anchorage Solutions for Severe Maxillary Atrophy: Zygomatic, Pterygoid, Transnasal, Piriform Rim, Nasopalatine, and Trans-Sinus Dental Implants.

During this intensive 3-day course, you will have the opportunity to witness Dr. Dan Holtzclaw performing a remote anchorage arch surgery using general anesthesia and a Smart Denture Conversion pickup. Following this, you will spend the next two days working alongside another doctor, where you will perform your own remote anchorage surgeries under general anesthesia.

Prior to attending, it is required that you have completed the Remote Anchorage Advanced Cadaver course.

During this intensive two day didactic and hands on course, students will learn predictable techniques to maintain soft tissue contours around dental implants as well as various protocols to perform soft tissue augmentation in the presence of soft tissue defects. 

Training will be done in an interactive lecture and presentation format. Hands on training will utilize surgical models and porcine jaws to demonstrate safe and predictable protocols to perform a variety of soft tissue techniques such as the free gingival graft, free and pedicle connective tissue grafts, and allogenic tissue grafts.
