Biography

Bio coming soon.

I grew up in Washington State as the oldest of four children. I graduated from Kentridge High School in 2009 and always had a strong work ethic. During high school, I earned my Associate's degree from Green River Community College. I was an active member of the school’s jazz band, playing trombone, and proudly earned the Eagle Scout award from the Boy Scouts of America. I also worked 20-30 hours per week at an auto parts warehouse throughout high school.

After graduating, I served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Denver, Colorado. In 2012, I was accepted to Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah, with a half-tuition scholarship, where I pursued studies in environmental science and business management.

In 2013, after shadowing various health professionals, I decided to pursue dentistry. Even though I wasn’t graduating for another two years, I applied to dental schools and was accepted into Midwestern University’s DMD program in Glendale, Arizona on December 1, 2013. Shortly thereafter, I was offered and accepted the 4-year HPSP U.S. Navy Scholarship.

I met Rachel in early 2013 while I was attending BYU and she was studying Theater at Utah Valley University and competing on their track team. We quickly fell in love, got married, and moved to Glendale. While I attended dental school, Rachel pursued cosmetology school, graduating in 2015 and becoming a licensed cosmetologist. She worked at a kids' hair salon, which she thoroughly enjoyed. In 2016, we welcomed our first child, a beautiful and well-behaved girl with a big personality.

Since then, our family has grown with the addition of another daughter and our first son. During my service with the Marines, we also adopted two purebred Rough Collies, Max and Lizzie. Our family loves playing board games, scuba diving, skiing, painting, and spending time with our grandparents in the scenic cities of McCall and Island Park. We absolutely love living in Idaho, especially with both sides of our family nearby.
